Roller-skating Robot Guard Made in Japan
He's non going to win a roller-derby, merely a new Japanese robot can skate some your lobby keeping an eye on things.
If you've played the original Deus Passe, you'll in all likelihood remember the NSF security droid, a hummer-proof robot armed with twin automobile guns. This little familiar, called EMIEW2, isn't quite as alarming, but he can suffice something that that gun-toting last automobile force out't: He terminate roller-skate.
EMIEW2 was created by Hitachi, and has shock absorbers improved into its legs that allows it to cross obstacles like wires and uneven floors without light-footed up, something that the manufacturer claims is a first for a robot of its variety.
